Mr Daniels On Friday last week Year 5 girls took part in the netball tournament at Brentwood. This was a fantastic tournament with the girls performing better than they ever have. On Tuesday we had the pleasure of receiving an author and poet in school. Kathy Henderson worked with the children throughout the day reading them her poetry and prose, firing their imaginations to create their own writing and also illustrating some of her work with the children’s help. A truly inspiring and enjoyable day was had by all.

Mr Daniels During the course of three days of events, over 1800 Year 4 students took part from 40 schools in a multi-sports event at Chelmsford Sports Athletic Centre. There were 6 events with 300 children participating each time. On the day Heathcote finished in 1st place. Overall, Heathcote finished 2nd out of the 40 schools which took part.
